MORE ABOUT ME
Dennis Mulherin has successfully led at the individual school level and at the system level for over twenty years. With this wealth of experience, an Executive MBA, and a graduate of AICD’s Company Director’s Course in his toolkit, he is equipped with the theoretical knowledge, understanding, and practical skills to be well placed to support school leaders and governors in their efforts to develop high performing places of learning and care. As the Executive Director for Lutheran Education Queensland (LEQ) between 2016-2021, Dennis led the development and implementation of the first system-wide strategy. During his tenure LEQ experienced 11% growth in student numbers, 9 of the 26 schools were named among the 30-50 most innovative in the country (Australian Education Awards), service learning was embedded across schools, and an innovative senior secondary learning delivery model was developed and implemented that led to interest from across the country. Over the last two years Dennis has led the Concordia Campus of Concordia College through cultural change to best place the staff team to deliver a contemporary high-impact learning program for the more than 900 students. In all his leadership roles, Dennis has looked to model integrity, transparency and trust as the key pillars of culture development. He now wishes to share his toolkit with as many places of learning as possible for the benefits of all learners.
